Come Walk with Us and Take Action on Sexual Violence
I invite you to join A Little Change Adds Up and me in supporting BARCC, as well as raising awareness around the impact of sexual assault. At the bottom of this email you can find more information on BARCC, the valuable services they offer, and a link to event details.
We are walking to remind survivors that there is hope, and that they are not alone. We walk for change and a well-informed society and culture, so that perhaps the causes of assault may be understood and resolved. We walk because we love nature and moving our bodies—and a good cause makes it even sweeter! We've been blown away by the support received so far. Only 48 hours after our team's creation and our first rally cry, we met (and exceeded!) our goal. THANK YOU to our supporters. But we aren't slowing down just yet--Let's keep the momentum going!
Taking ‘action’ looks different for everyone. However we choose to do so, each one of us contributes a voice to this cause. Whether you join our team, walk, make a donation, or pass this onto a friend, we appreciate your support. Please take a moment to visit our Team Page through this link below:
From there you can join our team, make a donation, spread the word, or leave us a message on the team board! We'd love to hear from you!
We understand that April 10th is THIS SUNDAY! So the time to join, donate, or spread the word is NOW. Fellow procrastinators, let’s unite—today! Before you do anything else.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions: Stephanie.firstname.lastname@example.org or contact event coordinators directly at email@example.com. We hope you can join us, whether in person or spirit. You can come walk at 9:30am and leave by 11am (food and activities will go until 2pm).
